Teams are locked in for the PGL Wallachia Season 5, scheduled to take place between June 21-29, 2025, in Bucharest, Romania. The event will be held on LAN, behind closed doors at the PGL Studios, without a live audience.

16 Dota 2 teams will compete for a whopping $1,000,000 prize pool, with the winner walking away with the lion’s share and the ultimate bragging rights. Although the list of qualified teams for PGL Wallachia Season 5 looks stacked, teams such as Team Falcons and PARIVISION will not be participating.

Additionally, no Southeast Asian teams are participating in the event, primarily because the SEA regional qualifiers for The International 2025 begin just a few days before the competition.

The event also serves as a precursor to the Esports World Cup 2025 and The International 2025, providing all qualified teams with an opportunity to test their strategies on the battlefield.
