The big updates to CS2 just keep coming recently, and this latest update has seen night maps added to the game.
Well, added to Casual and Deathmatch, at least.
Just two parts of a big update, let's go over everything new in the game.
Ancient has undergone a massive visual update in this update, making the map far more vibrant and the green colour palette feel much more detailed.
Although the map itself hasn't changed much, one big change that will effect A anchors and AWPers is that the angle that allowed you to defend A Main from Temple has now been removed.
The big box now covers the angle, meaning that you will have to commit more to the fight if you wish to hold the bombsite from the T side as they execute.
In even bigger news, Ancient also has a nighttime version of the map now able to be played after months of speculation.
It's currently only available to be played in Casual and Deathmatch, but it looks unreal, so we'll definitely be checking it out.
It also means that the glow in the dark feature of the BLAST.tv Austin Major stickers is also now visible in the game, which is pretty cool considering those stickers are now also on sale as a result of the update.
And that's not all, a new M4A1-S skin has also been added to The Armoury.
A brand new skin that will only be available for a limited time, it comes with multiple unique patterns, which you can see below.
As well as this a new music kit box has been added to the game, as well as the return of some old animations.
That's right, you can all stop crying now.
There's also been some nice quality of life improvements, which launders seems very happy about.
