It's time to get your picks in for Stage 1 of BLAST.tv Major Fantasy for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
There's plenty of tough decisions to be made, especially when it comes to picking your captain, getting those crazy point multipliers might make the difference when it comes to beating your friends and topping the leaderboards.
So, if you're struggling to pick your team, don't worry, we've got you covered. We'll be going through the most picked players, as well as those that everyone seems to be avoiding, so that you can secure the most points possible from Stage 1.
First off, let's talk about how you can actually play the BLAST.tv Austin Major Fantasy.
First, you'll need a BLAST.tv account. But you should have one of those already.
After that, head to the Fantasy page from the home page and begin to select your team. The rules are simple:
Players will earn points based upon their performance within a match. The highest rated player will earn 100 points, while the lowest rated player will earn 10 points. An additional 10 points will be awarded to a player if they are on the winning team.
From there, you can challenge your friends by creating Private Leagues or compete against everyone else in the Community Leagues.
There's a lot of faith in HEROIC and BetBoom in Stage 1, half of the players in the top ten play for the two teams. Complexity also have a lot of people expecting big things, they have three players in the top ten.

On the flipside, there isn't as much faith in Chinggis Warriors, their entire team features in the ten least picked players for Major Fantasy.

So what about players that aren't as picked within their respective categories who could give you the edge?
FlyQuest captain INS is a Bronze player with a 4.43% pick rate, putting him lower than players like stanislaw, Jee, nicx, and Boombl4. Although he may have struggled ratings-wise so far this year, if he can rediscover his old form, he'll be a real star for FlyQuest at the Major.
Although SunPayus is the bigger name, tN1R is actually HEROIC's highest rated player in 2025 with a 1.19 rating in all games compared to SunPayus' 1.11. They're both in Diamond, so you can only pick one, but tN1R could give you an edge considering his lower pick rate.
TYLOO's star JamYoung is also in the middle of the pack for pick rates in the Platinum category, giving you an excellent chance to pick up a team's star man within that column. With only 6.93% pick rate, a strong TYLOO performance in Stage 1 could see JamYoung be your difference maker.
