xfl0ud on his Major performances: "I felt like I would cook a little bit"
One of the favourites through Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major with a 3-0 record, HEROIC are already there after an impressive 2-0 start with wins against Chinggis Warriors and NRG.
After the game against NRG, a 13-5 win on Dust2 in which xfl0ud topped the scoreboard with 22 kills, we spoke to the Turkish star about HEROIC's start to the Major and his own impressive performances thus far.

You're now 2-0, how are you feeling after the game?
I feel great, every time it's the first day of the Major it's stressful, it can go the complete other way. It's a fast day, two BO1s, but right now, I can say that we're relaxed and not thinking we've shown nothing. Now we just have to focus on finishing the job tomorrow.
It was a really good showing for yourself today and you got an ace in that second game, how are you feeling about your own personal levels here in Austin?
I always try to take the opportunities that come to me, and this game is one of those games. I felt like I would cook a little bit, and the enemies were trying to come to side of the map, which they shouldn't have been doing.
It was a good game, I felt very good, I had my moments. I hope it continues tomorrow.
Now that you have some momentum built up, how much does that help you tomorrow and going into the next stage?
It helps a lot, we have the mentality now that we're not in a dangerous spot and that helps us be calm going into the next game. We'll use that momentum in a good way, I don't know who we'll play yet, but we're ready for anyone.
We know that this is the last event with SunPayus and sAw, is there a last dance mentality to try and succeed before the lineup changes?
We're not taking it seriously, it's going to happen, but we're here to play, not to think about what will happen after. We're here to grind, and we're focused on doing so.
