Stage 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major is here.
That means Falcons and FaZe have joined the competition, but the first round didn't go well for one of those teams.
We had a lot of dominant showings, so let's go over the action.
s1mple and yxngstxr have been joking a lot on Twitter int he last few days, but it was s1mple who got the last laugh as he went 17-5 on Dust2.
A dominant 13-3 win, it was exactly the result FaZe needed to kick off their time in Austin. A rematch of their elimination game at IEM Dallas, FaZe were dominant throughout as they led the tie 10-2 at the half.
FaZe will now play TYLOO in their 1-0 game.
But what about the other 3-0 favourites? Well, they lost against npl's B8 team.
The biggest upset of the first round, Falcons never got going in th egame, they found themselves 9-3 down at the break thanks to alex666's incredible 15-6 T side performance.
Falcons did attempt to comeback in the second half, they won five of the first six second half rounds, but three straight round wins for B8 were enough to seal it 13-9.
OG looked really strong in Stage 1 of the Major, but they were no match for VP in their first game of Stage 2.
ICY was in stellar form on Inferno, he went 17-7 and put up a monstrous 1.97 rating to send OG to the lower bracket.
VP will now have a tough game against B8 in the second round, while OG will play M80.
BetBoom were another strong Stage 1 team, but 3DMAX showed them what it means to be a Stage 2 team as they took them down 13-4 on Anubis.
AWP IGL Maka was the star for the French team, he went 18-8 as only Ax1Le could record even a neutral K/D at 13-13.
A stark reality check for BetBoom, they'll be looking to bounce back against HEROIC in the opening round.
Lynn Vision made it to Stage 2 with a strong performance against NRG, but they couldn't get anywhere near that level against FURIA.
None of the Chinese team's players managed to record above 8 kills on Nuke, they had a torrid time dealing with YEKINDAR and molodoy as they combined for 39 kills.
A 13-4 win for the Brazilian team, it's exactly the start they would have been looking for in the Austin Major.
It got even better for Brazilian teams in the next game, paiN managed to get a win over Nemiga on Dust2.
A game in which nqz starred, he went 1.42 and 15-5 as paiN dominated the second half with a 6-2 T side to wrap up the game.
paiN will now have to face a Brazilian derby in the second round, they'll be going up against FURIA.
For our first Brazilian derby of Stage 2, Legacy took on MIBR.
Another one of the 3-2 teams from Stage 1, Legacy carried their momentum forward into the second stage with a 13-10 victory over their national rivals.
latto and saadzin topped the scoreboard, they combined for 42 kills in the victory.
The final game was fought between M80 and TYLOO.
M80 held an 8-4 lead at the half after a solid CT side of Train, but TYLOO took control in a big way in the second half.
M80 managed just one T side round, Attacker and Jee were constant threats as they combined for 26 kills to secure a 13-10 win.
