Majors are always magical, and we've just seen a bit of that magic in action as Lynn Vision pulled off a huge upset victory to take down Falcons in a 0-1 game.
An incredible underdog win on Nuke, the Chinese team were on top for the majority of the game, largely thanks to Westmelon's incredible pop off performance.
After the game, we caught up with C4LLM3SU3 to talk about how they managed to pull off such a historic win.
You're now 1-1 after an incredible win against Falcons, how are you feeling?
We're surprised, but shoutout to our coach, he did lots of preparation in such a short time and 90% of it was correct so we knew how they'd play and that's the most important part of winning this match.
Westmelon popped off on the map but you mention the gameplan there, was that always just to anti-strat them as much as possible?
We didn't do lots of antistratting, we just know how they play and we'd communicate based on that for how to win each round, to stay calm and to trade clutches.
Can you put a finger on why Westmelon popped off so hard?
I guess he just really wanted to win and just went crazy in every situation.
Lynn Vision and TYLOO are both doing really well this event, what do you think that means for the Chinese scene?
I think we're bringing lots of passion and energy to the Chinese viewers, especially because we have a lot of rookies in our teams who are energetic and excited to play this event.
With the rookies the inexperience can sometimes bring nerves but it seems like it's the opposite for you guys, is that how you see it as well?
Yeah, personally I'm the rookie here and I didn't perform that well, but I did everything I could to help the team. I'm trying to make less mistakes.
We're not sure who you'll play tomorrow yet, but does another BO1 help you or would you prefer to be going into the BO3s already?
BO1s are good for our time, strong teams are good across multiple maps but if we can just contest one against a good team we probably have a very good chance against them.
