There's now two teams through to Stage 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, B8 will be joining HEROIC in advancing as they took down Wildcard with a 2-1 scoreline.
Another banger game from what is already shaping up to be a great Major, the young squad will be thrilled to have given the Ukrainian fans something to shout about.
Let's go over the action.
The NA fans will have all been behind Wildcard in this one, and things were looking good for them as they managed to snatch away an OT win on map one, Train.
The two teams traded 7-5 T halves, with npl and kensizor shining for the Ukrainians and susp and JBa coming up big for Wildcard.
OT remained close, but it was the CT side that became the deciding factor as Wildcard's sole CT round meant that their clean sweep on the T side would see them gain a map advantage in the series.
B8 bounced back hard on map two, they took Dust2 with a comfortable 13-6 scoreline.
7-2 up in the time it takes you to say "Just one more game," there was a slight glimmer of hope for Wildcard, susp and stanislaw won an incredibly unlikely round on the B site.
It mattered for little in the end, though, B8 fared much better on their CT side than their opponents, winning six out of seven second half rounds played to take the map with ease.
headtr1ck topped the scoreboard, his 25-9 statline saw him dominant with a 2.12 rating.
If 13-6 wasn't enough for you, how about a 13-2?
Wildcard may have looked strong on Inferno yesterday with their 13-1 over Metizport, but they were made to look daft by the Ukrainians as they were held to just two rounds on what would have needed to be a much stronger T side.
As it happened, though, alex666 and esenthial were just too strong. Combining for 31 kills on their CT side, alex666 recorded a 2.19 CT rating, effectively reducing Wildcard's attack to absolute zero across the 12 rounds.
