Virtus.pro defeat paiN 2-0 to go 3-0 in Stage 2

Virtus.pro may have had a hard time thus far in 2025 but they've been cooking at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

They're through to Stage 3 now, they just took down paiN with a 2-0 scoreline after an OT on Mirage.

Let's take a look at the action.

VP seal Dust2 with 13-10 scoreline

Virtus.pro have made light work of their previous two games in Stage 2, but they had their toughest half yet on Dust2 as they ended their T side at 6-6.

FL1T soon gave them the advantage, though, he popped off on the CT pistol to put VP ahead in the map.

They kept going, extending their lead to 9-6, and a 1v2 from ICY helped them secure a 10th.

And it wasn't long before FL1T was back in the highlight reels, he held his composure to secure VP a 12th.

The VP star topfragged in the 13-10 win, he picked up 21 kills and a 1.39 rating to give his team the advantage in the series.

VP take the series after OT on Mirage

paiN managed to come into Mirage strong, they ended the first half 7-5 up. It could have been more, but FL4MUS stuck the defuse to secure his team a fifth.

VP then wrestled control over the game in the second half, but paiN's young gun snow managed to pick up a ten second defuse in the 1v2 to take us to OT.

And VP then kept their cool to win the OT, they picked up the map 16-13 thanks to 25 kills from fame.
