Stage 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major has continued to be a bloodbath.
We've seen surprises in both the 2-0 and 0-2 games, as well as seen unlikely results in the 1-1 games.
Let's take a look at the action.
Lynn Vision pulled off a phenomenal result on day one to beat Falcons and they carried that momentum into their 1-1 game.
Fought against their national rivals TYLOO, Lynn Vison put up a brick wall on their CT side of Anubis, registering a 9-3 first half.
Westmelon and EmiliaQAQ were the stars, they combined for 34 kills to put their team within touching distance of Stage 3.
A game fought on Dust2, you can see below for how confident Nemiga were when they went into the half having just tied the score 6-6.
They would've felt silly in the end, though, 3DMAX ended up taking the map 13-11 after a 7-5 CT half.
zweih top fragged the server with 26 kills, but it was the team performance from 3DMAX and the 20 kills of Graviti that sent 3DMAX to the 2-1 bracket.
FURIA have looked strong since adding YEKINDAR and molodoy and they continued their strong form in the 1-1 bracket with a win over their NA rivals, M80.
Another Dust2 game, yuurih starred, he picked up 19 kills with 11 of those coming in a 7-5 T side to give FURIA the 13-8 win.
The Brazilians now have a good chance to make it into Stage 3, they will face B8 in the 2-1 games.
The Dust2 games didn't stop coming, B8 and HEROIC played on the iconic map, too.
It was the Ukrainians that managed to win the map, a closely fought contest that finally came to an end at 13-10.
A real team performance from B8, every player on the team went positive but it was npl and alex666 who topped the scoreboard as they combined for 36 kills.
Legacy really did say "fuck your Pick'Ems". They went 3-0 today, taking down FaZe in a surprising 2-0 win.
The Brazilians effectively dominated Mirage, their win was never in doubt as they gave themselves the advantage in the series with a 13-7 win.
FaZe looked much more dangerous on Dust2, s1mple even almost forced OT after some sensational AWPing towards A, but Legacy proved to be too strong once again as they took the series with a 13-11 win.
The second 2-0 game was contested between Virtus.pro and paiN.
Virtus.pro won the series, they got the better of two close maps as both teams continued to impress in Austin.
13-10 on Dust2 and 16-13 on Mirage, FL1T impressed with 42 kills in the series and some huge plays to send VP through.
In our first 0-2 game, BetBoom were eliminated by MIBR after two 13-11 losses.
The first came on Train, with MIBR edging out the map by having a slightly better CT side and recording a 7-5 first half. Lucaozy was the difference maker on the map, he went 22-14 to give MIBR the advantage.
Anubis was a similar story, with MIBR putting up another 7-5 CT half to take the lead into half time. Lucaozy remained strong, but it was saffee and exit who topfragged as their 16 kills each helped MIBR remain in the competition.
It almost got very scary for Falcons, they went a map down against OG as they collapsed from a 9-3 position to lose Dust2 13-11.
However, the experience prevailed in map two, Nuke, as the Falcons players managed to rally after some close rounds were traded back and forth towards the end of the map. A 13-10 win in the end, Magisk top fragged thanks to a monster 21-10 performance from m0NESY.
With OG's steam rapidly running out, Falcons took full advantage on Mirage. A dominant 13-6 victory for them, they stayed alive thanks to MAgisk picking up a huge 1.93 rating.
