From jubilation to heartbreak, we now know the first team eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
Metizport may have brought pride back to Swedish CS with their qualification to the Major, but Swedish fans had very little to shout about in Texas as Metizport have been eliminated with a 0-3 record.
Their final game was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Imperial, let's take a look at how it went down.
Imperial were looking very strong in the first half of Nuke, they lost pistol, but then went on to win eight consecutive CT rounds to give them a healthy lead.
try was the star in that run, after a disappointing opening day, he popped off to give Imperial an 8-4 lead going into the half.
The Swedes responded with an eight-round CT side of their own, their own AWPer L00m1 was also coming up big as they fought for their Major lives.
However, just as Metizport were about to level the tie, it was try who clutched up against L00m1 and isak to secure a 12th round for his team.
Pushed to overtime, the steam of the Metizport comeback had clearly ran out. They won just won round in OT, four consecutive out of the Brazilians was enough to secure them a 16-13 win and the advantage in the series.
Momentum now completely on their side, Imperial's T side battering ram was impossible for Metizport to contend with as they raced to a 10-2 lead.
There were some bright moments for the Swedes, L00m1 domed VINI up mid early on in the half, but that was about as good as it got for them in what will be a disappointing way to exit the Major.
Adding insult to injury, Metizport attempted a B rush on their T side pistol round, but that rush was promptly shut down by Imperial and try sealed the deal with a knife kill.
13-2 when it was all said and done, Metizport are the first team to exit the Major thanks to decenty's 1.99 rated, 20-6 performance on map two.
