An entire decade of Soccar.
Rocket League turns 10 on July 7 and has announced a massive three-part 10th Anniversary celebration spanning three months leading up to the RLCS 2025 World Championship.
The birthday bonanza includes tons of new playable content, cosmetics, collaborations with popular artists and content creators, tournaments, and even a little piece of history for diehard fans to put on their wall at home.
Much of Rocket League's 10th Anniversary celebration kicks off the second you see the main menu with login rewards, a revamped club system, podcast beef, limited-time items and game modes in collaboration with adidas, and the new Season 19 Rocket Pass.
Additionally, DFH Stadium has been given a shiny 10th Anniversary makeover!
Players will be awarded four distinct golden items throughout Rocket League's 10th Anniversary celebration, simply for logging into the game! Just load up the game (with an internet connection) at any point during the event to receive one or more of the following items:
After what feels like an eternity, Rocket League Clubs finally affect more than your in-game name and car colors. For starters, Clubs will now be accessible directly from the Main Menu for easy access to all their new features.
Club organization will be significantly enhanced with the Club Manager role, which can be used to grant other members administrator privileges on par with the Club Owner.
The Online Member Status allows Club members to view each other's status and create parties similar to the current Friends List system.
Finally, members will be able to represent their Clubs with more style than ever before by leveling up Club Medals and earning Club Titles by farming in-game stats. Club intro sequences will also play whenever a full Club party enters a match.
All known default Club Titles and other details are listed in Rocket League's official v2.53 Patch Notes.
Rocket League's latest collaboration with adidas, the adidas FC Clash, brings loads of items to the shop and two limited-time game modes during the 10th Anniversary celebration.
Fans of the beautiful game can suit up with banners and Octane decals supporting Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal, and Manchester United. Any neutral fans can don the adidas Ball Octane decal, wheels, and banner instead.
More adidas Club items, including the Fennec ZR-F car body, will be revealed on June 25 at 5 pm PT.
From June 18 at 8 am PT until July 1 at 9 am PT, the adidas Soccar Strike game mode will offer a 3v3 experience with enhanced ball control. Players will be able to dribble more easily, add curve and spin to shots, and enjoy moving the adidas Club World Cup ball around the field in a more grounded version of the game they already know.
From July 2 at 9 am PT until July 16 at 9 am PT, the Possession Rumble game mode will have players target each other with power-ups to keep possession for their team. This mode will be played in Rocket Labs Arenas, including the brand new Roadblock Arena.
From July 16 until 30, players will be thrown for a loop as they come up with strategies to win in SunlessKhan's Demolition Duel, a limited-time game mode in which players detonate on contact with... the ball.
As usual, the new competitive season brings plenty of new items to be unlocked.
Most notably, the Season 19 Rocket Pass Premium contains two new car bodies, the Breakout X and Xentari, as well as Player Anthems of iconic tracks such as Hollywood Principle's Solar Eclipses (VIP) and Breathing Underwater (VIP), and Dr. Awkward's Firework (VIP).
Rocket League's 10th Anniversary renews the podcast beef between Chalked Cast and First Touch in the game's latest Community Spotlight.
Fans will be able to support their favorite of the two podcasts by claiming one of two free in-game titles. From June 18 at 8 am PT until June 26 at 9 am PT, goals scored by players wearing either the WE ARE CHALKED or FIRST TOUCH CREW titles will be tallied up and tracked via a live leaderboard on the Rocket League website.
Once totals are finalized, the winners will be announced before the two content squads take the stage for a LAN rematch at the RLCS Raleigh Major.
Regardless of rank, Rocket League's 10th Anniversary is bringing plenty of opportunities for players of all skill levels to get a taste of competition.
Starting August 21, the new Pentathlon Tournaments will be a new permanent tournament type consisting of five different game modes.
The Champions Road is making a return from September 4 through 17, most likely bringing plenty of esports-themed items alongside the Jump Jam limited-time game mode. This also opens up the possibility for another set of Champions Road Open tournaments leading up to the RLCS 2025 World Championship.
Music by many talented artists at Monstercat has been an integral part of the Rocket League experience ever since the electronic music label's initial partnership with Rocket League was announced over 8 years ago.
To celebrate the game's 10th Anniversary, the following Player Anthems will be available in the Item Shop from July 7 at 9 am PT until July 20 at 6 pm PT for 300 Credits each.
Rocket League and Monstercat, along with iam8bit, have also announced the Rocket League x Monstercat: 10 Year Anniversary vinyl, which will be available for pre-order from iam8bit on July 7.
The vinyl will contain a compilation of 19 songs, including iconic tracks and remixes from the past decade of Rocket League. These songs will also be featured on the in-game Seasonal playlist.
Additionally, those who pre-order the vinyl will receive codes for the following in-game items:
Apart from the aforementioned Jump Jam game mode, there are three more things mentioned in Rocket League's 10th Anniversary announcement that we know little to nothing about.
All that's been said about the Summer Road Trip limited-time event, which takes place from July 22 through August 4, is that it will feature a new car to be unlocked.
Starting on August 5, the Rocket League Year 10 ft. deadmau5 limited-time event will celebrate a "big component" of Rocket League: music. It seems likely this event will include some Player Anthems and cosmetic items at the very least.
Echo Playlists will be available to play during the Echo Chase limited-time event from August 21 through September 3. In these playlists, players will be able to earn a so-called Echo Item by bumping into others who already own it. It's unclear what this mysterious item may be at this time.
Who knows what other surprises Rocket League may have in store for us as it celebrates a decade of car soccer.
