An icon who helped put his region on the RLCS map, trk511 is one of the most decorated players in MENA history.
The Saudi Arabian star commands respect in any game mode he plays, with achievements ranging from 1v1 World Cup champion to an INSANE 25 regional RLCS titles.
Currently, trk511 and Team Falcons are MENA's premier representatives on the international RLCS stage. With 2nd-place finishes at two different Majors, they've come the closest of any non-EU or NA team to winning a Major RLCS title. They'll undoubtedly make their region proud once again at the upcoming RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major.
Now, there's no replacement for the countless hours trk511 has poured into mastering Rocket League's mechanics, but his settings and controls can give you a head start on playing like one of MENA's finest.
trk511's choice of camera settings is fairly standard for pro and other high-level players. In fact, they're nearly identical to their teammate and fellow countryman, Rw9.
The only key differences between the two Falcons players are Swivel Speed and Transition Speed, with Rw9 preferring 3.50 and 1.10, respectively.
Regardless, the two teammates seem to agree on the key settings of Camera Shake, FOV, Height, Angle, and Distance.
The multi-time MENA champion's controller of choice is currently a Sony DualShock 4. Similar to his camera settings, trk511's controls are fairly standard for competitive players using the same controller.
Notably for anyone still rocking default controls, the addition of Air Roll Right enables much more precise control for aerial mechanics such as air dribbles and flip resets.
Curiously, trk511 has elected to keep his Powerslide on the default Square button, which could make it more difficult to Boost and Powerslide at the same time compared to those who bind one of those actions to a bumper.
Joystick deadzones and sensitivity settings are something that casual players may not pay the most attention to, but can make a world of difference if you understand them and adjust them to your advantage.
It's important to note that changing your joystick's deadzone shape is not available in-game and is only possible via third-party software on PC.
Regardless of its exclusivity, changing this shape can extend the potential reach of your directional inputs, and some players swear by it. There are various in-depth explanations and guides on changing deadzone shapes on YouTube.
Controller Deadzone and Dodge Deadzone can be changed in-game, and simply affect how far you have to move your joystick for an input to be detected or for a directional dodge to be activated, respectively.
Aerial and Steering Sensitivity, which most competitive players set to above the default, can enable you to turn your car faster both on the ground and in the air.
It's important to note that controls and camera settings are the most personal things you can change to tailor your Rocket League experience and gameplay to your needs and use cases.
Simply copying another player's settings will not guarantee that you instantly rank up to SSL. In fact, changing controls in general can lead to periods of worse play as you take time to adjust your muscle memory to the new layout.
That being said, trk511's settings are a fantastic template to go off of if you're looking to broaden your horizons and see the game how a pro does. Go ahead and copy them, and then slowly adjust things to your tastes as you learn what works for you.
